Asia Forward Evening Introduces
New Co-Chairs

Asia Society Southern California held a special reception and dinner for Asia Society's new Co-Chairs, Ronnie C. Chan and Henrietta H. Fore. Appearing as part of ASSC's "Visionary Speakers" series, Chan spoke about his career and shared his views on Asia's continued development, while Fore discussed Asia Society's new global vision at a particularly challenging economic and political time.

In addition, ASSC used the Asia Forward dinner to launch its new LAsia 21 program, led by Los Angeles City Council President Eric Garcetti and Asia 21 Fellow (Class of 2008) Seagull Song. The program is designed to identify and honor rising stars under the age of 40 in the Southern California community who are building bridges between Asia and the United States.
